01. Acceptance of Terms & Live Demo Clickwrap Gate
These Terms of Service ('Terms') govern your access to and use of the website saveface.tech and the interactive SaveFace Live Demo. By accessing this website or clicking 'Agree & Launch Demo' on the Clinical Evaluation & Intellectual Property Notice modal prior to entering the Live Demo, you enter into a legally binding agreement with SaveFace and its Intellectual Property Holders.
If you do not agree to every provision of these Terms, you must click 'Decline' on the Live Demo gate and discontinue use of the platform immediately.
02. Medical & Dermatological Disclaimer (US FDA & EU MDR Non-Medical Tool)
NOT MEDICAL ADVICE OR A MEDICAL DEVICE: SaveFace is an independent computational and informational chemistry reference tool designed to analyze cosmetic ingredient lists (INCI) based on published toxicological and dermatological literature. SaveFace is NOT a healthcare provider, and the platform does NOT constitute a medical device under US FDA regulations (21 U.S.C. § 321(h) General Wellness / Informational Software) or European Union Medical Device Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2017/745 — MDR).
We do not diagnose, treat, cure, mitigate, or prevent any skin disease, allergy, or medical condition. Indicators such as 'Safety Score', 'Efficacy Score', 'Personal Score', 'Pregnancy-Safe', or 'Zero-Out Veto' are informational mathematical calculations and must never replace consultation with a board-certified dermatologist, allergist, obstetrician-gynecologist, or primary care physician. Always verify the physical packaging of any product prior to use and perform a clinical patch test.
03. Algorithmic Methodology, 'Presumption of Maximum Risk' & Scientific Opinion Shield
SaveFace evaluates formulas using a deterministic three-vector mathematical model cross-referenced against public regulatory and scientific databases (including EU CosIng, SCCS opinions, CIR assessments, ECHA, and peer-reviewed toxicology literature). Because international cosmetic labeling laws permit manufacturers to withhold exact ingredient concentrations behind trade secrecy, our algorithm strictly applies the 'Presumption of Maximum Risk': whenever a potentially sensitizing or restricted substance is listed without an officially disclosed percentage, the penalty is calculated based on the upper conservative risk threshold.
PROTECTED SCIENTIFIC OPINION: All scores, tier classifications ('Potent Formula' vs. 'Marketing Trace'), and AI-generated chemical summaries constitute independent, automated scientific and analytical opinions (protected under the US First Amendment Fair Comment doctrine and EU freedom of scientific/comparative expression). Cosmetic manufacturers frequently reformulate products by region or batch without altering product names, and SaveFace continuously calibrates its mathematical weights; accordingly, scores are dynamic and do not constitute factual assertions of product defect.
04. Exclusive Intellectual Property & Anti-Reverse-Engineering
All elements of the platform—including the SaveFace SSOT Scoring Engine, the Three-Vector Scoring Architecture (Safety, Efficacy, Personal), the Synergy Engine, the proprietary database of 30,000+ substances and 250,000+ synonyms, category parity keys, UI widgets, visual Lego-blocks, and the 5-block AI Summary structure—are the exclusive intellectual property and trade secrets of SaveFace and its founders, protected by international copyright, database right (EU Directive 96/9/EC), trade secret, and unfair competition laws.
STRICT PROHIBITIONS: You may not, directly or indirectly: (a) scrape, crawl, spider, harvest, or extract data, ingredient mappings, or scores from saveface.tech or its APIs; (b) submit systematic, batch, or automated queries to the Live Demo in order to probe, deduce, or reverse-engineer our mathematical weights, concentration anchors, bioavailability thresholds, or scoring formulas; (c) use any SaveFace output, score, or AI summary to train, fine-tune, or evaluate any third-party artificial intelligence or machine learning model; or (d) reproduce or benchmark the platform for commercial or competitive purposes without prior written authorization.
05. Acceptable Use of the Live Demo Environment
The Live Demo is provided solely for interactive demonstration and evaluation of the SaveFace engine. Users may submit supported cosmetic product URLs, raw INCI text, or photographs of cosmetic packaging. You agree not to bypass or attempt to circumvent our IP rate-limiting guards, inject malicious payloads, attempt Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF), or upload unlawful, defamatory, or personally identifiable imagery.
06. 'AS IS' Warranty Disclaimer, Limitation of Liability & Dispute Resolution
THE PLATFORM AND ALL ANALYTICAL SCORES ARE PROVIDED 'AS IS' AND 'AS AVAILABLE' WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY US AND EU LAW, SAVEFACE AND ITS FOUNDERS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR SPECIAL DAMAGES (INCLUDING ALLERGIC REACTIONS, SKIN IRRITATION, OR COMMERCIAL LOSS) ARISING FROM YOUR RELIANCE ON ANY SCORE OR ANALYSIS.
